Anna Leigh Ashford

Annaleigh Amanda Ashford was born in America. Ashford is an actress or singer, as well as dancer. Ashford returns to Broadway in March 2023, in which he'll be starring alongside Josh Groban opposite Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd. The production takes place at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. The group behind Hamilton director Jeffrey Seller and director Thomas Kail will be at the helm of the production. Ashford was last seen as Paula Jones in Ryan Murphy FX show American Crime Story Impeachment. The series is based on the National Crisis which put Paula Jones Monica Lewinsky Linda Tripp as the central figure in the country's First Impeachment Proceedings in Over a Century. Ashford was a part of two seasons in the CBS hit comedy B Positive. It was developed by Marco Pennette and Chuck Lorre the series also starred legendary performers Linda Lavin Hector Elizondo and Ben Vereen.No stranger to Broadway Ashford was awarded the Tony Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for her role as Essie in You Can't Take It with You. Also, she has been on Broadway as a character in Sunday in the Park With George Wicked, Legally Blonde in addition to the original role in the role of Lauren in Kinky Boots for which she was nominated for a Tony Award. Her birthplace and childhood was in Denver Ashford is now dividing the time in Los Angeles and New York.
