When she was 6 she was able to win a surfing competition using a broken board found inside a garbage can in front of her house. The young surfer began her surf career when she was 5 years of age and had won her first surf contest at age 6. In the age of 7, she secured a sponsorship. Her birthplace was in San Clemente California but later moved to Hawaii. Abraham, a male model, began to date her in 2016. Ashley was 16 years old when she participated in the NSSA National Championship. Ashley was awarded the Triple Crown Rookie of the Award in 2003. Additionally, she was awarded two National Scholastic Surfing Association Championships as well as the Professional Surfing Tour of America title.
