Felicity jones is a British actor who is best recognized for her role as Jane Hawking. She played Jane Hawking of Jane Hawking in The Theory of Everything, the film that received acclaim from critics. Jones has been an actress since she was twelve, has appeared in numerous TV shows and films. Jones started her career as an actor in the television movie The Treasure Seekers. Then in The Worst Witch she played Ethel Hallow. Then came Weirdsistersisters Sisters, a sequel of The Worst Witch. Her debut film, Flashbacks of a Fool included her in the role of Young Ruth. Since then she has appeared in numerous films. Her popularity grew due to her role in films like The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The role she played for the character of The Theory of Everything earned her an Oscar nod for the first time. The biopic is based on the biography of the physicist Stephen Hawking, and Jones was adored by both audiences and critics due to her flawless portrayal of Hawking's first wife. Inferno, a Tom Hanks thriller was her following part. Jones was awarded the title British Artist of Year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles for her exceptional talent and contributions to the cinema.
